Remapping Debate is an online domestic public policy NEWS journal. The heart of the publication is original reporting. Remapping Debate takes seriously the idea that the job of journalists is to question and to illuminate. The focus is on the 'why' and 'why not' questions that most others ignore.

The Journalism Interns must be people who want to use an "apprenticeship" year to hone serious, high-quality journalism skills. People who think that it is worthwhile to assist the publication's reporters in developing the necessary background to place stories into context.

You must have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Facility with data analysis and visualization a plus. This position requires that you work full-time out of the office in the Flatiron District of Manhattan.

Note: Remapping Debate covers domestic public policy issues, NOT international affairs.

Please apply only by going to the website and following the instructions. In your letter of interest, you should explain specifically and concretely how your skills and interests are a good match for Remapping Debate.
